Lot 224 Browning Superposed 'Grade I' 12 Ga #14313S3

Belgium made Over/Under box-lock shotgun chambered for 3" Magnum 12 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1963, and imported by Browning Arms Company out of St. Louis, MO., and Montreal P.Q. Featuring a blued finish, 30" vent ribbed barrels, barrels are marked for and measure Full / Mod, ejectors, silver colored bead front sight, gold-toned single smooth curved inertia trigger, tang mounted serrated sliding barrel selector and safety, and a checkered top lever. The receiver, top lever, and trigger guard display limited coverage floral and scroll engravings with edge designs. High gloss walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, long lower tang, sliding checkered forend with deeley latch release, 14" length-of-pull, 1-7/16" drop at comb, 2-1/2" drop at heel, and a brown Browning ventilated rubber recoil pad with black and white spacer. The original blued finish retained is approximately 96% with superficial scratches, and some edge wear. Metal displays a minute amount of scattered light emerging surface rust. Furniture wood looks very good with light scattered scratches and dings. Bores are excellent and bright. The action is tight with solid lock-up and the top lever standing right of center. This shotgun includes original luggage style brown Browning faux leather factory hard-case. This shotgun would be 'Very Good' without the observed rust.
Condition is NRA Good.
